Fiber One Cereals Review/Giveaway and a coupon!

The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans say people should consume 25-38 grams of fiber daily, and that the average American consumes only 15 grams. It is so hard to get my almost 4 yr old to eat anything even remotely healthy but she looooved the Honey Clusters and Shredded Wheat. The Caramel Delight was my personal favorite, and the Man loved them all, which is saying  a lot, cause he usually like the sugary cereals. I felt good giving it to my family, knowing it was a sneaky way to get them to eat fiber but also happy that they enjoyed the taste as well.

    What an easy and yummy way to get sneak more fiber into my diet. I would keep it at work with me for breakfast instead of eating at the cafe. No fiber there! Ooh and that would save me money too! Yes, please!

    I think Fiber One makes a good snack. I measure out some in a bowl, when I’m counting calories, and eat it dry when I’m needing something to tide me over between meals.

    past 2 months trying to eat healthier just dignosed diabetic, high cholerol and lack of iron. so this will be more whole grain and fiber and less sugar for me .

    I like to start my day with a high fibre cereal such as Fibre 1 with 2 tbsps of chia seed sprinkled on top. A great, healthy way to start the day !

    I have this great granola bar recipe and one of the ingredients is a cereal. I have used Fiber One for this to add extra benefits to an already beneficial homemade treat.

    I like to bread chicken strips in Fiber One and bake them so that’s a good way to get it into your diet.

    I would definitely work the cereal into my everyday breakfast. I occasionally eat Fiber One bars & my doctor just informed me that I do need to eat more fiber!

    I admit to not eating the healthiest at breakfast because our mornings are usually so hectic (sick of sugar-laden cereal!) so having these healthy cereals around would be great for us!     I would simply replace my current cereals….which are extremely kid-friendly I’m embarrassed to say….with the healthier option of Fiber One. The Caramel Delight does sound particularly good.

    I mainly do the cooking, since my wife and are on a high fiber intake. I have added Fiber One into many recipes. For example: pancakes, apple cobbler, yogurt, muffins and breads. We have lost weight since I’ve gone this route and feel much better. Thank you Fiber One, Rod
