Elton: The Early Years- An Elton John Tribute Band

On a beautiful Saturday evening at the Orange County Fair, I was invited to check out Elton: The Early Years, an Elton John tribute band dedicated to those crazy early years of Sir Elton’s career. The era of disco balss, bell bottoms and Saturday Night Fever. Sir Elton was an amazing performer… with.. uh taste for the eccentric, outfits that is. You remember those crazy outfits? See above… and that’s tame.

This Tribute is a full band with the lead singer bearing an uncanny voice to Sir Elton himself. The crowd loved every oddity and eccentricity and everyone from kids to grandparents were dancing and singing to each tune. Benny and the Jets was killer and so was Levon, and they just kept jamming out the tunes.

I honestly really enjoyed this band and they were a fun way to top off what had been a great day at the Fair (Starting with Hotel California). Check them out whenever you get a chance :)
