You may have noticed a nice shiny glass of milk badge on my right panel.
Well, as it so happens, I am one of the new Positivity Ambassadors for the California Milk Processor’s Board!! Yay!!
I am way excited about this because Milk is a staple for my family. It is a major part of our daily lives and is a huge role in us staying healthy and strong. Not to mention, my daughter’s growing like a weed and she needs all the nutrition that milk provides a growing, healthy child. Nutrition such as protein, lipids, calcium, vitamins A and B6, biotin and potassium that not only build strong bones, but, drinking milk also helps to build strong teeth and to prevent cavities.
Milk is also a major contributor to some of the best tasting recipes out there. Recipes such as Cheesy Chicken Pasta, New England Clam Chowder, and a Tuna Noodle Casserole. Delicious recipes that are easy to make and your whole family will enjoy. Did you know even something as basic as a everyday breakfast item like pancakes has milk in it? What an easy and delicious way to incorporate it into your kids diets.
Besides the many benefits of milk and all the delicious things you can make with it, I also wanted to tell you a little something about a man called the “Master of the Glass Half Full” (or in Espanol- El Maestro del Vaso Medio Lleno).
Simón Felix, better known as the “Master of the glass half full”, is the Positivity Guru who invites us to see the positive side of things. Here are a few fun positive facts about el Maestro:
- His positivity has changed many laws, including Murphy’s.
- He once dropped 100 pieces of toast with butter and marmalade, and they all fell face up.
- They say that his positivity lifted the entire area of the Dead Sea.
Do you want to learn more about this fun (and fictional- yes, fictional…The Master is just for fun!) character? Go check him out on Facebook and Twitter. Take a look at this video introducing you further to the Master of the Glass Half Full.
