When you hear the word Moonpig, do you think of high quality, hilariously personalized greeting cards? Yeah, me neither. But you know what? That’s OK and Moonpig won’t hold it against you. Their funny name makes sense though when you start checking out their laugh out loud cards.

PhotobucketI’m not even a Twi-Hard fan and I would buy this card! Admit it, you at least cracked a smile right? It’s the Moonpig humor.

Besides their off-the wall cards they have a loyalty program I haven’t seen offered anywhere else. When you add Prepay credit to your account Moonpig will give you a bonus 20% on top of it! Who goes and buys just one card? There is always a birthday, thank-you, get well that you pick up too. Moonpig generously gave me the chance to try out their Prepay Credit service. They added $20 to my account and automatically an additional $5 was added on top of it!

I picked cards from three different categories and I wanted to try out their LARGE card option from their variety of Birthday Cards, check it out!

My son’s birthday is in January, he will be thrilled for two reasons:

  1. He’s now immortalized as a pirate.
  2. He’s a HUGE pirate! That card is a whopping 8 1/2 x 11  inches and comes in a hard cardboard envelope to really protect this keepsake.
Check out their selection of Christmas Cards, this was my pick:

moonpigThis is my holiday/new years card I’m giving my neighbors. I like it so much I *almost* don’t want to part with it.

I couldn’t resist immortalizing my face as “Her Royal Highness The Frugalette.” It’s offical now because, I have a card that says so!

Moonpig cards are made of the same card stock that is used by greeting card manufacturers. The cards are printed using an HP Indigo 7000 digital press, which is the most sophisticated digital printing press available. These are high quality card stock!

Moonpig gives you the option to send the card to yourself, in which case the card comes in two envelopes. One is the mailing envelope and a second envelope inside for the card itself.  You can also have the card mailed directly to the recipient  using the ‘send direct’ mail option and enter the name and address of the recipient. They will mail the card directly to them in one envelope.

Check out Moonpig next time you want a personalized, super funny card to send to someone, or make one for yourself and frame it. You better believe I’m framing mine and keeping it on my desk as a reminder to everyone around me of my “Royal Highness” status. ;)
