It seems appropriate the I write this just before I am to unplug til 2012.
When I started blogging, I was at a very low point in my life. So I had a private blog where I just talked about what I was going through. One day, I made the choice that this sad person I was reading back to myself was not the person I wanted to be or portray to anyone who may read me. So… I changed.
I bought a domain and created this blog you see here now. From May through the end of November I blogged, worked full time, went to school and ran a household. Much to my surprise… my little blog that I was once never gonna show the world, well people kinda liked it. So it grew. Then I lost my job, I got depressed, school is on hold and somewhere amongst all the chaos, I found a piece of bliss. My blog, again, was there to see my through.
Writing. Teaching. Learning. That is what my bliss is. Could I learn more? Of course! I hope that by continuing to sink myself into the blogging world and social media, I can give back someday and start teaching others what I have learned. To help them find their Bliss.
With that said, I am crossing all my fingers and toes and hope I can attend Blissdom ’12. I feel there I will discover what my next step will be and what I can do to really rock this blogging world.
