This past weekend, my family and I were invited to attend Knotts Berry Farm for their Holiday celebration, named- Knotts Merry Farm! We, of course said yes, as we loved Knott’s Scary Farm.
Upon arrival, we were treated to a cute little “Gift of the Magi” show, which I sadly only caught the end of…hopefully getting back there before the festivities end to see it all. We were then taken to an area reserved for Cookie decorating and meeting an awesome couple, yup- Santa and Mrs. Claus!
And then we met Santa!!
After meeting Santa and my daughter having the guts to finally tell him she wanted a bike this year (noted!), we got a chance to check out the park and have some fun of our own. The whole park was decked out in fabulous Christmas decor…none more than the Camp Snoopy area. As the kids jumped from ride to ride, I got to see just how much they transformed the park again. I couldn’t wait to see it when evening came cause I could tell there were lots of lights and designs that you could only see after dark.
After playtime, we headed to meet our group where we had primo seats for the Christmas parade. The parade highlighted all the favorite Peanuts characters, had dancing Christmas Trees, and Santa, naturally.
..and the parade ended as the sun was setting and that’s when we saw the Christmas cheer light up the whole park. We stopped for a quick snack, and then the kids where ready to battle some more rides…
We had a fun filled day at Knott’s. Full of Christmas Cheer, friends…and..oh yea, sugar. If you are an Orange County or Los Angeles local, or will be in town this season, make sure you check out Knott’s. The festivities continue until Jan 2!
Disclosure: My family and I received admission to spend the day at Knotts to experience Knott’s Merry Farm. All opinions and thoughts are 100% my own.
