My Home Depot Holiday Decorating and a Giveaway (US) #FiestasHomeDepot

12/04/2011 by Yolanda Machado

It’s December- you know what that means! It’s time to get into the Christmas spirit and head to Home Depot. Home Depot?

Yes, I said Home Depot!

Did you know that Home Depot has a enormous selection of Holiday Decorations ranging from everything like stockings to trees? No? Neither did I, til I actually went in there on a mission to decorate my home in the best holiday cheer around. When I walked into my local store in North Hollywood, right away I was hit with Holiday decor:

I was so floored that they had these right at the entrance, and then I turned around and saw that right there in the parking lot, they had an area for Christmas Trees. I wanted to head over and check it out, but it was very windy…and I had a tree, so I went inside. I saw more Holiday florals and for a little bit was feeling a loss when I didn’t see any more Christmas stuff and then, there it was- A HUGE section of Christmas decorations for the home.

I was like a kid in a candy store. They had some awesome stuff and if you caught me on twitter that night, you know I was stuck deciding not what to get- but where to stop!

My finds ranged from stockings for my cats, to special decorative pieces both for the front of our apartment and for the inside.

the damage to the register...

As you can see… I kinda had a blast finding stuff, and it was so easy to find coordinating pieces, cause Home Depot makes it just that easy. I was also very impressed with their large selection of decor that had messages in Spanish. I like knowing my grandmother, who is the main Christmas decorator in my family, could walk in and pick up a few pieces that represented her language and our heritage.

So you wanna see how it turned out? Check it out…and then check out the amazing giveaway Home Depot is giving my readers!

WIN IT

Now that you have checked out my amazing finds, Home Depot is offering you a chance to win a $50 Home Depot for all your holiday decorating needs! Just enter on the form below. Ends 12/18 at 11:59pm EST, Open US Only, Void Where Prohibited.

GOOD LUCK!
