It is winter here in beautiful Southern California, which means… well, not much. Winter here is probably about 2 weeks long full of rain in February and then it’s back to that perfect weather we are known for. Which is probably why I believe our shoe of choice here is flip flops.
Recently, celebrities are sporting flip flops more and more. The preferred brand? Havaianas.
I have been a LONG time fan. Since about 3 yrs ago my friend’s boyfriend brought me these magical sandals from Brazil. My Havaianas are a brown pattern with gold straps, and I wear them all year long. I have been thinking about adding different colors to pair with a variety of outfits I wear throughout the year. These silver Havaianas flip flops you see right above, I am having a major shoe crush on them right now.

LOL we were just talking about this with our co-workers at our office because our AC is out and it’s 85 degrees in here!! Flip Flops in January!!! Gotta love living in California

I have some sandals that can be customized but I didn’t know they had flip flops that you can customize….really cool
Oh, you are making me so jealous! I hate cold weather (and real shoes, lol) and would prefer to be able to wear flip flops and sandals year round. These are adorable though.

I live in Florida and we are experiencing the same thing – hot days and flip flops. I must say though, although I do miss the snow sometimes, I definitely don’t love everything that comes WITH the snow like being cold, wet, and having to shovel my way out of the drive way.
This post makes me think about summer. I live in the Pacific North West, a temperate rainforest and at the moment wearing flip flops would leave me with cold, wet feet. But I can dream about the upcoming summer that will bring flip flops and the need for pedicures!
Oh how I love living in FLorida it is so nice here flip flops most of the time for me.. Just have to keep that pedicure up ..I cannot wait until summer gets here ..This post makes me long for those beach days…These flip flops are so cute I am going to purchase some today

I miss SOCAL! Grew up in Downey, floated thru the Valley for a while, then came over to Riverside and finally down to San Diego. Florida is ok, Cali is WAY better!

i love havianas but they also hurt my feet after a while because they are very slippery

I live in TX, but we certainly have warm times in Winter! Crazy temp changes here! Freezing one day, then 70 the next. I didn’t know they had some flip flops to customize, cool!

I love flip flops and wish i could wear them all the time. Unfortunately I live in MD so we can only wear them in the spring and summer.
We’re surrounded by flip flops here, but it’s still too cold to wear them outside. But all of us at Muswear are dreaming of flip flop season! I am so jealous ~! We have about a foot of snow right now and flip flop season for us isn’t until another 5 months. Winter here is like 7 months
So when flip flop season is here you can bet we want to enjoy it because it’s a long time between flips lol
It would be the coolest to be able to customize or flops~! I can’t wait to pass on the news about this one. We are getting the winter time blues (yes they are real)here which is usual this time of year. This might be just what the girls need to hear. Maybe we ought to order them now and rent a hall and bring in some sandbox sand and have a beach party lol

I just got home from visiting Brazil. Almost everyone there wears Havaianas. I bought about 5 pairs. the fun part is that they have stores all over and you can customize them with crystals and charms. They have a machine that punches a hole in the strap so you can add the special decorations. Now that I am back in the Northwest I will have to wait a few months to start wearing them here. They are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn.
