Not many people know this about me. In fact, unless we have roomed together you won’t know… but I have a confession. I am a bit OCD about my teeth. My teeth, my smile, my breath… all of it. I refuse to even mutter a word until I have brushed my teeth. You see when I was young, my teeth weren’t straight, and I always had a small underbite… and I was always self conscience about my teeth. I never smiled showing teeth cause I thought my smile was horrible. I was short, full of freckles and I did not want to give kids another chance to tease me, so I hid my smile. One day, without thinking, I was caught by camera smiling, full teeth, full grin…and I got complimented on my smile. I thought my friend was kidding, til I saw the photo, and I looked happy and…confident.

I realized then that my smile was more than just a sign that I was content, it was a way for me to show the world I was a confident, strong female. Keeping my smile healthy and bright takes work. Annual dentist visits and daily help from products like those from Crest.
