I haven’t written a post since Tuesday.
I suck.
I planned full days of getting ahead to leave you all with great info and posting a ton of stuff but then life got in the way. Like my husband wanting to actually spend time with me and my daughter wanting to do stuff with me. Weird how that works. And, not because I felt guilty and not because I felt I had to….I pulled away and did that.
It was awesome.
But then, I did not write like I had planned (my Google Calendar even blocked off which I dismissed). I had to prep for leaving for almost a week (aka buy food that ISNT sugar filled and beyond pancakes that they like to live on while I am away…ahem). So now, even though I am at a BLOGGING conference, I haven’t blogged. Balance is clearly not my forte.
But this is what I have learned while here.
Your blogging friends are the best. Parties are a dime a dozen. New York is god awful in August. Spanx rule. Don’t bother getting a mani/pedi before the conference.. you’ll get plenty while here. Shoes— all of them, suck. Dad bloggers exist. Cabs rule. Oh and, when a party has an open bar– order 4 drinks at once (thanks Mickey!)….maybe 8 even (hiccup).
See ya’ll soon. If I don’t melt.

Not to worry! Your readers know where you are, what you are doing and … don’t be so hard on yourself. We are caught up in watching the Olympic coverage anyway.
Enjoy, network, learn and don’t melt!
and assuming you can still FEEL your feet! Loved meeting you Yoli!
Glad you had fun at Blog Her! Look forward to your thoughts on Blog Her 12.
