With Summer almost ending, I like to think back at the fun times. My memory tends to relate well to smells and sounds, often thinking back to a particular moment when a certain song played or a certain scent lingered. To this day, I can remember my last summer of High School listening to Blackstreet’s No Diggity while driving to go camping with my then boyfriend. That very first touch of freedom. Summer to me still represents freedom. Those everlasting final tastes of fun. It makes me want to put my hair up and shake my hips to some rhythmic beats while absorbing that beautiful California sun and enjoying a cool drink. It makes me fall in love with the world again.
Below is my list of Summer of 2012. I like to call it- “My Touch o’ Sass to Shake Your A%$”
- Jennifer Lopez & PitBull- “On The Floor”
- Enrique Iglesias, Ludacris, DJ Frank E – “Tonight (I’m F*****g You)”
- David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj- “Turn Me On”
- David Guetta feat. Usher- “Without You”
- Demi Lovato- “Give Your Heart a Break”
