Today is Day 8 of the Latino Trailblazer series I am participating in with Being Latino and Best Buy where for 20 days, we introduce and honor a member of the Latin community that has paved the way for others.
Today’s honoree is Calixto Chinchilla.
Calixto Chinchilla is the founder of the New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF), a 13 year old showcase of about 110 films from the U.S. and Latin America that is expected to welcome tens of thousands people including moviegoers, actors, filmmakers and industry executives.
