Latino Trailblazer Day 9: Junot Diaz

Today is Day 9 of the Latino Trailblazer series I am participating in with Being Latino and Best Buy where for 20 days, we introduce and honor a member of the Latin community that has paved the way for others.

Today’s honoree is Junot Diaz.

Junot Diaz is a Pulitzer Prize Dominican-American writer, creative writing professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and fiction editor at Boston Review. In 2010, he became the first Latino to have been selected to sit on the 20-member Pulitzer Prize board of jurors.
