Being a blogger in LA is kind of surreal…more often than not, we are invited to celebrity filled events and get asked for photo opps and interviews. I call it being a Bloggebrity. It’s fun, tiring and exciting all at the same time. While 50% of my time is at home- writing, emailing, pinning (hello- research!) and facebooking, the rest is very much running from one event, screening or interview to another. I meet people from film studios, big name brands and other bloggers almost daily and making an impression is crucial.
I was just invited to attend a networking trip with a huge brand next month (details will be coming!) and I will be immersed in not only in the top selection among my colleagues but also with executives from a huge brand. I need to be in top form. This will be my chance to make an impression that will make or break my relationships with many of these people.
My first thought when I receive an invite is always- What am I going to wear? This time I’m getting a little help from Liz Claiborne.
