For as long as I could remember, I have had a shiny nose. I think my obsession for staying shine free began when I was about 12 and I started to see my friends use powder as part of their “makeup” routine. At that age, we really didn’t know what we were doing, and yet, that’s when I noticed that I have a shiny nose. As you can imagine, for a young girl trying to get that cute boy in Algebra class to notice her, well.. a shiny nose was just the end of the world. You would think that as I grew older my obsession would subside… but while I am pretty confident in myself, if my nose is shiny? I don’t dare leave my apartment.
I have what is called “combination skin” meaning. What that means is that typically my T-zone area is oily and the rest of my skin is a mix of dry and normal. Yup- it’s fun. The worst is when I have to get ready to go somewhere and the second I set foot out the door, I have to apply more makeup. Let me tell you, there is nothing worse in 100 degree Los Angeles heat than caking on makeup and sweat. Neutrogena heard my woes and sent me some items from the Neutrogena Shine Control Collection.

I am not a foundation wearer, but even so, upon trying this one, I found that it was light and didn’t feel cakey. The Primer has to be my new favorite product.
