Sometimes, I Cook: Best Buy in the Kitchen with Cuisinart and Oxo

Ok, so since the man began his cooking career, I rarely if ever, venture in the kitchen. He has claimed it as his own and that is A-OK by me. But sometimes, when the little and I are home alone without our chef…this mama has to cook. My favorite meal to make, by far, is breakfast. Being part of the Best Buy Blogging Board, I was sent a Cuisinart Griddler to try out.

You know that means I got to work on breakfast like.. at 7pm at night.

Mmm… turkey bacon, eggs sunny side up and I also lightly toasted some break on that griddle. Breakfast for dinner in a snap. The neat thing about this is that it is not just for breakfast. No, you can also use it as a contact grill, panini press, flat grill or griddle. Maybe I’ll make a Breakfast Panini next time? This little appliance does it all so it is such a space saver. For me, personally, I hate buying a million pots and pans and taking up all the space in my tiny kitchen. With the griddler, not only do I not have to slave over a hot stove, but I can use the plates and mix and match to meet my cooking needs. The Nonstick grill and griddle plates are removable and are dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.

Best Buy is not all TVs and computers, as with the Griddler, I was also given more great kitchen products, this time from Oxo!

We use our Oxo items practically every day. Even the Avocado Slicer! We LOVE avocados in the household but the cutting peeling can get tricky with a regular knife, so this is a fave here.

Water Bottles are a must here in Los Angeles- and Oxo Good Grips is fabulous. We are all about reducing, reusing and recycling whenever possible so we each have a water bottle to take along with us anywhere.

And of course, my personal favorite… the Oxo 16 oz Steel Cocktail Shaker. Cause mama needs a break sometimes. It is the perfect size and is made to last- so I will be shaking up some mojitos and Margaritas for many years to come. Yay!
