Latino Trailblazer Day 15: Phil Jimenez

Today is Day 15 of the Latino Trailblazer series I am participating in with Being Latino and Best Buy where for 20 days, we introduce and honor a member of the Latin community that has paved the way for others.


Today’s honoree is Phil Jimenez.

Phil Jimenez is the an illustrator who started his career at DC Comics working on such notable works like Wonder Woman and the mini-series, The Tempest. In 2007, he moved to Marvel to work on The Amazing Spiderman, The Astonoshing Xmen and The New Xmen. He has been listed by Entertainment Weekly as one of the “101 Gay Movers and Shakers” and teaches Life Drawing at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.
