Family Matters.
That’s the message behind Secret of the Wings. If you love Disney, have a Tinker Bell fan in the house or just want to see fantastic animation check out this movie.
I always wanted a sister growing up. All my friends had a sister and the bond they shared was like nothing I saw anywhere else. I must have wished for it hard enough because I have two daughters now. They are not twins, but they do share the same birthday.
Although they are still young, they have a secret language that none of us quite understand. There is hand holding, smiles and hugs made only for each other.

Disney did their homework. They consulted ‘twin experts’ on how twins would react to seeing each other for the first time. And the special sister secrets, smiles and looks are all there.
In my backstage post, I did a voice over and this was the scene I said my line in! I could almost trade my daughters’ faces for these two, they get the same look in their eye when they start chatting with each other.
With every Disney movie comes music! I dare you to not try and sing the theme song by the end of the movie. It’s so catchy and it’s sung by the McClain sisters. Director Peggy Holmes said it was very important for her to have them sing it. Even the song keeps to the theme by having sister singers.
I’ve seen the movie now around 5 times and considering it’s still in our Blu-Ray Player I’m guessing we’ll be seeing it a lot more!
Secret of the Wings is out right now on DVD/Blu Ray.
Disclosure: I attended a Disney Press Event on behalf of SassyMamaInLA. All expenses, travel and accommodation were covered.

Your review makes me want to see this movie. I never had a sister and only had sons so I never saw this closeness e,but my sons had their own shorthand in language.
I would like to see this movie. Thank you for the review!
