Red Carpet Ready On A Budget In A Flash #DivinaLatinaWM

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Lunchbox and Latina Bloggers Connect. All opinions are my own.

DivinaLatinaWM

Being a blogger is much harder than it seems but it’s not to say it’s without it’s perks. One perk I get often is red carpet events. They are fun, celeb filled and I always have a great time. Well, once I get there. For days before, I rummage through my closet to find an “acceptable” outfit and the day of, I spend time planning makeup and hair. As mom, this means I need to do both in a flash. Unlike most of the celebs on the carpet, I don’t have a stylist or a makeup person. This is a mama on a budget so why I may have to look like a million bucks, I definitely don’t have the time or money to spend to look like it.

So what is a red carpet bound mama to do? I have three easy tips for you that will make any time-pressed woman be red carpet ready at an everyday, low price.

  • When it comes to hair, think less is more. Using a product like Tresemme Keratin Smooth well lessen your time styling your hair a sleek smooth or a sleek bun. You’ll look classic and elegant before your kiddos can start pounding on your bathroom door.

  • The key to perfect looking skin is finding the perfect BB Cream and for me that is Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream. I use it daily because it’s timesaving formula helps reduce dark spots, cover imperfections and evens out your skin tone in about 2 weeks. Applying it before my events always leaves me confident to walk the carpet like a pro.
  • A splash of color. I was always afraid of red lips. With my olive skin, red lips weren’t usually recommended but I found it takes the “right” red. Don’t be afraid of red, look for what works for you and then make it work on your lips. Red lips has become my signature and on the carpet, it gives me a little edge that my lips are making an impact.
