Fall is coming and that means the Halloween celebrations are just around the corner. Typically on Halloween I dress in something scary or my favorite villain (last year I was The Joker) and go to my friend’s house to scare people as they come to the door to get their treats. But this year I will be the one getting scared because I’m planning on going to Knott’s Scary Farm.
I was recently invited to preview Knott’s Scary Farm and I’m already excited for Halloween. I saw a few trailers introducing some of their latest and haunting features, including mazes, rides and shows that will never make you want to leave a tooth under your pillow – ever again. The maze “Trapped: Lock & Key” looked really scary and I definitely can’t wait to try it out. On second thought, I’m not sure if I want to be forced to face my darkest fears, confront my inner terrors and descend into the madness of a maze with no way out.
Another cool edition to Scary Farm is “Special Ops: Infected”, which is pretty much an invitation to a zombie apocalypse, and we all know those never end well. There will also be scare zones, which are certain areas in the park where zombies and free-roaming monsters will jump out of nowhere scaring you back to your mommy’s lap. I experienced a few of them at the preview, and they enjoyed scaring my mom right out of her chair. It was funny right up until they crept up behind me.
And if you’re an Elvira fan, you’re in luck. She will be part of the scary adventure as well.
If you live in LA or plan on visiting during the Fall, you have to check out Knott’s Scary Farm.
