Science projects and classroom experiments are often the first opportunity that our children have to participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related activities. But how can we encourage them to take a real interest in these subjects and to understand all of the opportunities that a STEM related career can provide? On January 16th Spare Parts will hit theaters nationwide. Spare Parts is based on a true story of four Latino students and their teacher on their quest for a shot at a national robotics contest. This inspirational film will offer parents and teachers a wonderful and engaging way to help get our kids talking about education.
And what better way to celebrate the release of this amazing film than with a fun and insightful Twitter Party with cast members including comedian-actor George Lopez, actor Carlos PenaVega who will share about their personal experiences and answer your questions. And there may be a few surprises along the way so you don’t want to miss it!
